The Even True Flawless Liquid Foundation, on the other hand, is a great option if you want medium to full coverage. This unique formula goes on as a liquid and sets like a powder, providing smooth, flawless coverage. If you want a foundation that evens out your skin tone and brightens your complexion, the Even True foundation is a great choice. The only downside is that this formula is only available in eight shades so there aren’t as many shades to choose from.

The Black Opal Total Coverage Concealing Foundation is a cream formula that does double duty as both a concealer and a foundation. Although it’s suitable for all skin types, not everyone is a fan of cream foundations. However, you may find that this product is a happy medium between liquid and powder formulas. The True Color Pore Perfecting Powder Foundation works best on oily skin. This powder formula provides medium coverage and helps keep shine at bay. This formula is available in 12 shades and features Black Opal’s Shade ID color adjusting pigments which ensure a perfect color match. Its creamy formula goes on smoothly and sets as a powder.

Last but not least, Black Opal’s True Color Mineral Matte Crème Powder Foundation is another cream to powder formula that’s suitable for dry skin. Cool Nude is the fairest shade available from Black Opal. Next up we have Champagne Beige, which is a little deeper than Cashew. For full coverage go with the True Color Skin Perfecting Stick Foundation, but if you’re looking for light coverage, opt for the True Color Pore Perfecting Liquid Foundation formula. Transitioning from options for fair skin to light skin, Kalahari Sand is the first shade on this spectrum. This shade is available in all six Black Opal foundation formulas, making it one of the most widely available shades in the entire Black Opal line. If this is your perfect match, you have the option to choose any formula you like.

If Kalahari Sand is a little too light for you, the next shade, Heavenly Honey may be just right. Like Kalahari Sand, Heavenly Honey is also available in all six of the aforementioned formulas, making it all more likely that you’ll find your perfect match.

Venturing into the light-medium shades, first up is Rich Caramel. You can find this shade in five out of the six previously mentioned formulas (it is not available in the True Color Pore Perfecting Liquid Foundation). Whether your skin is oily or dry, you’re sure to find the perfect formula in this shade.

Truly Topaz is just a tad darker than Rich Caramel. This is another shade that’s available in all six formulas. You may find that Rich Caramel and Truly Topaz work perfectly as your winter and summer foundation shades.

For those with medium skin tones, Nutmeg is the lightest option in this spectrum of shades. Nutmeg is available in all six formulas, so whether your skin is oily, dry, or somewhere in between, you’re sure to find a foundation that works for your skin’s needs.

Next up is Amber, a shade that’s just a little deeper than Nutmeg. You can find Amber in three different formulas: The True Color Skin Perfecting Stick Foundation, True Color Pore Perfecting Powder Foundation, and the True Color Mineral Matte Crème Powder Foundation.

Beautiful Bronze is the darkest shade on the medium skin tone spectrum. One of Black Opal’s most popular shades, Beautiful Bronze is available in all six foundation formulas, giving you the maximum number of options.

Hazelnut is a medium-dark shade that’s available in all six formulas. Whether you need light or full coverage, a matte or velvety finish, if Hazelnut is your shade then Black Opal’s got you covered.

Au Chocolat is a little darker than Hazelnut. This shade may be better suited for those with cool undertones and you can find it in three different formulas: The True Color Skin Perfecting Stick Foundation, True Color Pore Perfecting Liquid Foundation, and the True Color Mineral Matte Creme Powder Foundation. Carob is a rich shade of brown that’s available in all six foundation formulas, giving you the option to choose the best foundation type for your skin.
